Case Study: Beit el Zaytoun

Brief.

Based in the North-West London borough of Brent, and set alongside the canals - Beit el Zaytoun is a Lebanese restaurant that pools inspiration from their Mediterranean roots.

With a local-loyal dining community and massive online follower base - I work with the restaurant every quarter to shoot restaurant photography at the venue.

Their content usage is primarily focussed towards their Instagram, Google my Business, and other digital touch points.

Approach.

Before we session, I guide the team through a simplified restaurant photography content brief - usually shooting series of different scenes; covering table-side food heroes, as solos and group shots, along with a more reportage angel in the kitchen, topped with contextual portraiture of the team that makes it happen.

As well as using the in-venue environment and tables to add context to our restaurant photography, I additionally bring a different selection of on-brand backgrounds to each session - giving a wide selection of looks.

Our lighting aesthetic is set up to be as if just shot after golden hour, with the sun still low in the sky.

It’s always great to see Beit doing so well and for them to be please with their content.
