Case Study: Meat & Wine Co.

Brief.

Located in the heart of Mayfair, London - the Meat & Wine Co. has aptly opened its doors to the meat and wine lovers of the city.

Originally from Australia, and now one of 10 plus other restaurants in the Meat & Wine Co. worldwide group - the restaurant ethos is based around the owner’s African heritage - to create a standout dining experience with a moody, yet contemporary décor.

Off the back of a series of successful shoots with their sister restaurant, Jeru - the Sydney-based parent company Seagrass BHG reached back out to me to capture restaurant photography of their newest restaurant.

Approach.

I started off by setting up a visually-led briefing in form with the client, to collaborate on for their new restaurant photography; looking at the groups brand guidelines for moody scenes, with muted highlights and burnt orange tones - whilst expanding on this with a fresh set of eyes.

Captured on-location at the newly opened restaurant, I advised the clients on a local prop house to hire a selection of backgrounds and props to work with on the day before we shot restaurant photography and lifestyle-led content of their new lunch menu.

Already in use on their website, across social and for press - the client loved the final edited content and I’m looking forward to teaming up with them again soon.
