Case Study: TRIBE

 

Brief.

Based in Borough, TRIBE are a performance nutrition brand that produce products that use high-quality natural ingredients. After a massive crowdfunding campaign, and backed by their active community of dedicated followers, TRIBE have rapidly expanded their range - additionally offering new ranges of indulgent protein bars and muesli blends that are 100% vegan.

As part of an on-going series, I am briefed to develop and capture still life product photos that bridged the gap between product photography and food photography - making engaging content to get their community excited.

Content usage is split across their dedicated store and social media, with a focus on Instagram; for their newsletters, and for their wholesale partners to use.

 

Approach.

With all TRIBE shoots, I start by researching trends within their industry; expanding the brief, and developing visual concepts that are fresh and on-brand for TRIBE, yet relevant to their loyal community.

Shooting in the studio, bespoke sets are pre-produced then set up - with a selection of curated props, and prepped ingredients to style each of the campaign’s shots with.

Working towards fast-moving deadlines, the product photography content is shot, then edited and made ready for the next day, with the campaign content being used for their community launch newsletter, PPC, and across all of their social platforms - gaining a lot of engagement and positive reactions for the new ranges.
